Objective: Guests at the annual Golf for Abilis event spend the bulk of the day on the course. I wanted to find a way to get the Abilis message to them all day long rather than just at the pre and post game gatherings.

Strategy: Create visually compelling “fact” signs featuring data-driven content that would resonate with finance and business minded players as they circled the golf course. Using my own photographs, I worked with other directors on the language and designed the signs that would be at every tee. I brokered a deal with the vendor getting all the event signage for no charge in exchange for a sponsorship package. The event raised 50% more than the previous year. In a post event follow-up, guests attributed their improved understanding of the organization to the signs. The signs became a staple at our other events.
